1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the A Class Fencing website at aclassfencing.com or engaging our fencing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
A Class Fencing provides professional fence installation, repair, and maintenance services in Calgary and surrounding areas including Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, and Chestermere, Alberta, Canada. Services include but are not limited to:
- Wood, vinyl, and chain link fence installation
- Custom wood fencing and specialty designs
- Farm, agricultural, and post & rail fencing
- Fence and deck construction
- Fence repair and preventive maintenance
3. Estimates and Quotes
Free estimates provided by A Class Fencing are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified in writing. Estimates are based on information provided at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if site conditions or project scope change after the estimate is given.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A deposit may be required prior to scheduling installation
- Final payment is due upon project completion
- We accept cash, cheque, and major credit cards
- Financing options may be available for qualifying customers
5. Permits and Regulations
A Class Fencing will assist with standard permit applications where required by the City of Calgary or other applicable municipalities. The customer is responsible for providing accurate property information and for any costs associated with permit fees. Installation will not begin until all required permits are obtained.
6. Workmanship Warranty
All fence installations by A Class Fencing are backed by a workmanship warranty. Materials carry separate manufacturer warranties ranging from 10 years to lifetime coverage depending on the product selected. Warranty terms will be specified in your project agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, acts of nature, or unauthorized modifications.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate information about property boundaries and underground utilities
- Ensure clear access to the work area on the scheduled installation date
- Notify us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or obstructions not visible at surface level
- Obtain any required homeowner association (HOA) approvals prior to installation
8. Limitation of Liability
A Class Fencing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project in question.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled installation date. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a service charge. Any materials ordered specifically for your project that cannot be returned may be billed to the customer.
10. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our express written permission. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
